Wendy Moniz Biography
Wendy Moniz Grillo, an American television actress, is best known for her roles in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light and in Nash Bridges.
Moniz was first seen on TV as Dinah Marler, a CBS daytime soap opera. She starred in a series of regular episodes from 1995 to 1999 and was nominated two Soap Opera Digest Awards. Moniz was a guest star in 2002 and 2000. Moniz was cast in the CBS primetime drama-pilot Partners in 1999. She also starred alongside Morrie in Mitch Albom’s book Tuesdays, a critically-acclaimed television adaptation. Later, she was a recurring series host opposite Elizabeth Perkins on the short-lived NBC television program Battery Park.
Moniz was cast in the sixth and last season of the CBS Nash Bridges CBS series in the fall 2000. Later, she was seen opposite Simon Baker in The Guardian on CBS. It aired from 2001 to 2004. Moniz guest-starred on a 2005 episode NBC’s legal drama Law & Order. She also played a recurring part as Stacey Walker on the ABC short-lived comedy Big Shots in 2007. Later, she appeared on the FX Damages television series from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, she was cast as Blue Bloods, a CBS police drama. However, Andrea Roth replaced her and the role has since been recast. In the recurring role, she appeared on ABC’s daytime soap opera One Life to Live. She was also featured in the 2012 ABC series 666 Park Avenue.
